Overview:
Instructional design means more than simply designing instruction. It is the basis for identifying problems and implementing solutions. Design and development involves a systematic approach to improving performance or learning outcomes. The purpose of the design and development phase is to plan and select instructional strategies and tools or materials based on measurable objectives.
